Abstract :
This correspondence is concerned with a fast algorithm for the design of FIR least squares filters with linear phase and optimum lag between the input signal and the desired response. Both linear phase cases with phase delay and group delay are considered. Based on the special form of the resulting equations, an efficient algorithm is developed that recursively computes the linear phase filters of given order for all possible lag delays.
