Abstract
A generalized solution of the current equation for photosensors in CCD imagers during the charge collecting process is presented. It is applicable to p-n step functions and p-n induced junctions (MOS sensors), and it includes the effects of illumination, thermal generation, and physical and electrical characteristics of light sensor.
