Abstract :
The authors give a broader perspective on the problem addressed by Choate and Tsui (1993). The parameter identifiability analysis in that paper is significantly simplified and extended. In addition, it is pointed out that the `new´ Prony´s method discussed in that paper is nothing but the well-known forward-backward Prony´s approach
