Abstract
This paper describes the concept of a three-dimensional histogram used for the statistical interpretation of randomly varying harmonics. The new method is based on the measurement of the time duration of each harmonic value. This idea is consistent with the existing instrumentation technology and can enhance the effectiveness of real-time data acquisition to determine the effect and the limits of voltage and current distortions
