Abstract :
A Hermite inter/extrapolation scheme is proposed for fast-generating the matrices of the method of moments (MoM) over a frequency band. In this scheme, the positions of two frequency samples within the frequency band are optimized. As a result, the frequency range between these two samples is a subband of the entire band. The matrices inside the subband are generated by the interpolation, and those outside the subband by the extrapolation. The optimized positions of these two samples can be expressed in analytical forms. Numerical examples are presented to validate the proposed scheme.
