Abstract :
This book of more than 20 original chapters by leaders in the field is divided into the following five sections: Physiological Modeling and Simulation; Cardiovascular, Patient Monitoring, Pulmonary Systems; Medical Imaging; Medical Decision Making; Hospital Information Systems. The aim of the editor was to provide required information for practicing health care professionals and biomedical engineers who want to keep current with the rapidly advancing field of applications of computers in medicine.
