Abstract :
A new method for implementation of bandpass microwave filters with poles of attenuation at ultimate frequencies has been proposed and considered. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of transfer coefficient poles of a parallel connection of two four-port networks have been formulated. Bandpass filter section designs are presented with their equivalent circuits. Advantages of the suggested filters are displayed as compared to polynomial filters of a ladder-type structure
