Comments on "Useful Bessel function identities and integrals" [with reply]

The original paper [see ibid., vol, 41, p 1468-71, 1993] is claimed to contain nothing new either in substance or in application. It would appear that one of the reasons for the publication is that the integrals derived therein are not found in common references. Furthermore, the proof given in the paper is in the nature of a verification and hence hinges upon knowing the correct answers beforehand. It is not difficult to establish direct proofs. The original authors give their reply to these comments.<>
