The authors provide a comprehensive bibliography that relates to the development, results, and continuing research into the theory of the worth of electrical service reliability. The authors cover material that has been published from 1980 to 1990. The primary emphasis is on the theories and methods used in determining the interruption costs experienced by the consumers. Application of interruption cost data in planning of electrical systems is also included
