Abstract :
A novel frequency-domain TLM (transmission line modelling) method (TLM-FD) is described for the 3-D symmetrical condensed TLM node. It is shown that the less restrictive requirements of a frequency-domain solution permits variation of the electrical properties and density of the mesh, using node structures without stubs. The complete theory of TLM-FD is given and numerical results are provided for a typical application
