Abstract :
This issue contains a selection of papers from the 4th International Workshop on Magnetic Particle Imaging hosted by Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, Berlin, and Charité at Campus Virchow-Klinikum, Berlin, Germany, from March 27–29, 2014. This workshop is the fourth edition in this still young series of successful workshops on magnetic particle imaging. The series has rapidly gained a stellar reputation within the community and it attracts leading experts in the field. The 5th International Workshop on Magnetic Particle Imaging, IWMPI 2015, will be held on March 26–28, 2015 in Istanbul, Turkey.
