Abstract :
The input impedance and resonance characteristics of an equilateral triangular microstrip patch in the presence of a dielectric superstrate loading have been studied both theoretically and experimentally. A simplified cavity model is used to analyse the structure and is validated using a series of experiments. Different patch sizes and substrate-superstrate combinations are used to demonstrate their effects.
