Abstract :
A semiconductor-based OTDM receiver comprising a PD-EAM optical gate and an MLLD-based optical clock recovery device has been developed, which achieved error-free 1:4 demultiplexing of a 160 Gbit/s data stream. It was clarified that the noise levels and the timing jitter of the recovered clock are low enough.
