Abstract :
This paper reports the experimental result of ultrathin ring domains in a TbFeCo magneto-optical medium. The optical readout signatures of these ring domains are analyzed via a scalar diffraction model to determine the thickness of the ring domain. A ring domain shell of thickness 0.03 μm has been demonstrated
