Abstract :
A new design for a planar superdirective array printed on a dielectric slab is presented. The configuration consists of a single dipole as the excitation and a proper distribution of electromagnetically coupled resonant elements (open circular loops). Measured results of a seven element array and conclusions obtained from a free space simulation are included.
