Abstract

Visualization capabilities enable interaction and understanding of information easier. An interesting graphic display is one of the reasons why visualization is used to present an information. The growth of web visualization is supported by the rapid development of the Internet and the web programming capabilities. The availability of Indonesian-language translation of the Quran in a database system makes it possible to visualize it using Internet media. The aim of this research is to develop a web based visualization application prototype that utilizes SVG capabilities in HTML5. PHP program is used to write SVG syntax and retrieve data from Indonesian translation of Quran indexes saved in PostgreSQL.
