Abstract :
Collaborative projects with the long term aim of achieving 100 T quasi continuously within Europe are briefly outlined. Two Programmes feature; one is called EUROMAGTECH, the other is a design study for 100 T magnets. Both projects are funded by the Commission of the European Community. Links with magnet labs and industries outside Europe are welcomed
