  • Abstract
    A new 10-GHz microwave source which utilizes picosecond photoconductors is presented. Experimental results are given, including details of a comprehensive noise study. Such a source can be extended to millimeter-wave frequencies, with application to monolithic active phased array antenna elements, high speed data processing, and transceivers.
