Abstract :
This paper presents a geometric structure and model for single phase tubular Switched Reluctance linear launcher. This study achieves optimization in mover cylinder´s thickness, mover tooth length, mover inner diameter, stator yoke thickness, and air gap thickness are based on the present model. Considering the limitation of stator outer diameter and mover laminated thickness, the mechanical intensity and manufacture technics, the final geometry size can be designed for enhancing the electromagnetic thrust under the certain cubage. It is seen that the calculated results agree well with the experimental data, showing the same trend and magnitude of change. Therefore, the proposed calculation model, designed and optimal results are validated.
