Abstract :
Most companies´ electrical safety programs do not include a live work policy. Of the companies that include a live work policy it is mostly comprised of a brief statement that their company does not permit live work to be performed. By not incorporating a concise policy into the electrical safety program it could have a costly effect on the operation of a company, the safety of their workers, and create compliance and liability issues.
