Abstract :
The design of capacitor driven pulse magnets in the 80 Tesla range will be described. These magnets, to be operated at the user facility of the NHMFL at Los Alamos, incorporate strong conductor and graded reinforcement. The manufacturing procedure for the magnets will be presented together with a description of diagnostic testing and its significance in the design process
