Abstract :
Interstage magnetic couple effect of large caliber induction coil launcher (LCICL) is investigated in the paper, which includes the interstage magnetic couple effect for LCICL without load and with load. Using the interstage couple inductance matrix and the interstage couple coefficient matrix describe the interstage magnetic couple of LCICL. The coupled current, the power flow and the energy flow in the driving coil are analyzed. The laws of energy interstage couple and transfer in the launch process of LCICL are given. Research show that interstage couple energy mainly transfers toward the tail of LCICL and that interstage magnetic couple effect leads to launch efficiency decreased.
