Abstract :
The composite made by powder metallurgy, the matrix was copper and the reinforcement was Nano Carbon Tubes (NCT), Nano Aluminum Oxide Particles(NAlOP), The composites were made with different volume fractions, the first was 96%Cu and 2%(NALOP) and 2%(NCT), the second was 96%Cu and 4%(NCT), and the third was 96%Cu and 4%(NAlOP). the composites was compacted at 80 KN and sintered at 1000 °C in Argon gas. The matrix and composites was structurally characterized by using scanning electron microscope. The densities of the samples were recorded before and after sintering. The electrical conductivity and micro hardness of the matrix and composites were examined.
