Abstract :
In this paper, a novel design of 4×1 broadband circularly polarized active antenna array is proposed for telemetry signal reception. The antenna array is designed using electromagnetically coupled microstrip radiating elements and consists of bias tee and low noise amplifier. The 4×1 antenna array has broad VSWR <; 2 bandwidth of 9.5% and axial ratio <; 6 dB bandwidth of 7.5% at 2.2 GHz. The 4×1 array with LNA has maximum gain of 43.5 dBic and gain flatness of 1 dB.
