Abstract
The dynamics of a feedback-controlled Nd:YAG laser are examined. By introducing feedback-loss control in a Nd:YAG scan laser, the undesirable transient behavior of the
-switching operation is avoided, increasing the switching speed of the scan laser up to the megahertz range.
