Abstract :
A four-terminal coaxial-pair Maxwell-Wein bridge has been developed at the National Research Council, Canada. The bridge is suitable for the determination of self-inductance in terms of resistance and capacitance in the inductance range of 100 muH to 10 H at the frequency of 1000 Hz. The bridge is primarily designed to measure the four-terminal definition of the impedance of a self-inductor but may be easily modified to measure one-terminal pair impedance using a suitable adapter.
