Abstract :
This paper is divided into two parts. In the first part the fundamentals of microwave radiation of moistened ground and the main relationships between the characteristics of radiation and the physical and chemical parameters of soils and grounds are given. In the second part applications of microwave radiometry in solving the practical problems are presented.
