Abstract :
A simple, yet effective, ultra wideband pulse shaping circuit architecture is presented. The circuit enables generation of an arbitrary pulse based on in-time superposition of the excitation waveform. The proposed system addresses problems associated with spectrum management, pulse reception and equalization. The pulse shaper was implemented in planar microstrip technology to provide a fully variable waveform.
