Abstract :
This paper describes preliminary experiments conducted at zero speed using the pseudo-liquid armature with air-spring. Measurements made during these experiments include current, muzzle voltage, and gas pressure in the air spring. Armature action was obtained by simulating the current pulse. From this specific action was obtained by using the actual armature conducting area. The results obtained for the seven experiments conducted are presented. We discuss the results and make recommendations for future work in this area.
