Abstract :
The problem of multipath-interference due to cascaded filters is reported and analyzed here for the first time. A simple formula is derived, expressing the maximum number of filters that can be cascaded, once their out-of-band reflection and the maximum acceptable eye opening penalty is given. Results are mathematically demonstrated and then verified by numerical simulations.
