Abstract
This paper presents a design concept for an azimuth and an elevation antenna suitable for the light weight Portable Approach Landing System (PALS). The proposed design complies with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 10. Based on a proven technology, the proposed design offers a low risk and a cost effective approach.<>
