Abstract :
Meter reading in the electric utility Industry has been investigated from many different viewpoints. It is typically concluded that it is difficult to achieve more cost efficiency than the system widely used at present; manual reading at the uers location once a month. This paper will review the development of a new approach to more efficient meter reading.
