  • Abstract
    Equipment for isolation of primary and secondary neutrals at the distribution transformer are described and safety considerations discussed. Neutral-to-earth voltage changes due to isolation are characterized for both off-farm and on-farm sources. Voltage waveforms during part-cycle saturation or triggering are demonstrated.
