Abstract
This paper describes a coordinated scheme for complete transformer protection. The protection is a unique application of new products that have become available in the past few years plus others that were previously available. A multiple-element fuse link, a temperature-sensitive primary switch, a metal-oxide under-oil arrester, and a pressure-relief device are combined to make an overhead transformer a completely-protected transformer.
