Abstract
This work addresses the problem of devising a simple event-triggering strategy for observable and controllable SISO systems. The solution considers an observer based controller and an event-triggering strategy taking into account solely local variables. Sufficient conditions to ensure the global stability of the event-triggering strategy are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Two simulation examples illustrate the application of the proposed method to both stable and unstable systems.
