Abstract :
A new design for coupling coplanar waveguide (CPW) to microstrip antennas has been developed. The coupling method consists of direct aperture coupling from the coplanar waveguide feed to the microstrip antenna. The advantage of this method is the use of a single substrate for the entire CPW and antenna circuit as opposed to previous methods of coupling in which multilayer substrates were used
