Abstract :
A fast precision rectifier based on a maximum circuit is presented. A new circuit technique results in a very sharp corner in the transfer characteristic. A prototype has been fabricated using a 2μm CMOS process. Experimental results confirm a small input/output error and low output distortion for frequencies up to 1 MHz
