Abstract :
This work reports the performance of an axially displaced ellipse (ADE) antenna with an electrically small aperture. The diameter of the antenna is about 20??0, which is considerably smaller than the ADE antennas already reported. This antenna provides a measured peak gain of 33.3 dBi at 8.484 GHz, which corresponds to an overall efficiency of 55%.
