Abstract :
7-diethylamino-4-trifluoromethylcoumarin was synthesized and observed to lase at 481 nm in p -dioxane. Under repetitive flashlamp excitation, it was found that the photochemical stability of this dye solution showed a significant improvement over other dye solutions reported for the blue-green spectral region.
