Abstract :
This paper deals with the argument of whether increasing broadband access speed drives the development of new applications, or does the introduction of new applications drive the demand for increasing speed, just like the ´chicken and egg´ debate. As broadband adoption becomes more widespread and the use of high-speed network connections has become increasingly valuable it is interesting to understand to what degree speed and applications will drive the broadband industry
