Abstract :
The undulation domain structure (UDS) of the thin uniaxial magnetic films is studied. Both rigorous and approximate expressions of UDS energy are obtained using the magnetic charges method in case of sinusoidal form of domain walls. The results of calculation of UDS energy dependence on its parameters are presented. For the demagnetized UDS the equilibrium values of domain period and domain walls bend amplitude being a function of magnetic film parameters are found. It is shown that the equilibrium period of demagnetized UDS is greater then the equilibrium period of stripe domain structure if the ratio of the film characteristic length and thickness ⩽0.3
