Abstract :
The problem of group delay distortion in last generation LFM (linear frequency modulation) radars has been identified as an important handicap for the development of high performance broadband systems. A simple digital calibration technique is now proposed to overcome this problem. Although it has been developed for pulsed synthetic aperture radars it can be easily applied to other LFM systems.
