Abstract
Integral equations governing 3-D, quasi-stationary, leakage magnetic fields in transformers have been derived. Computer codes for the field analysis have been worked out. Considering finite permeability of the core, the 3-D calculations have been carried out. A superposition of 2-D analyses results, for approximate determination of the flux density distribution, is additionally presented. The results obtained from the 3-D analysis and from the superposition have been compared with the experimentally measured values
