Description and Bibliography of Major Economy-Security Functions Part I-Descriptions

This is the first paper of a three part series by Working Group 71-2 (W.G. on Operating Economics), and contains descriptions of major economy-security functions. The descriptions and definitions given are principally intended to serve as an introductory source, and are not necessarily those accepted by IEEE as a standard. The remaining two parts contain a detailed bibliography from 1959 to the present. An index is provided at the end of Part III, which lists papers in the category of each function contained in the Bibliography
