Abstract :
In this paper we address the problem of establishing conditions for global asymptotic stability in output feedback sliding-mode control. The proposed methodology introduces a linear term in a first-order sliding-mode controller. This allows to characterize the closed loop with the input-to-state stability property. Also, a Lyapunov-based methodology to find the correct gains for this controller is presented.
