Abstract :
Technology and Engineering Management Activities induced the awareness of Work Systems (WS) in Business Conduction. During WS activities and decisions settings, typically technical perspectives are espoused heavily. Although, remedies of this kind require holistic approaches, such approaches are not very common. One of the main reasons for this inadequacy is the lack of conforming guidance. In this work, the aim is to create a framework as guidance for WS activities. The Holistic Work System Framework (HWSF) is based on Alter´s Work System Framework (WSF) and enhanced with Systems Thinking in accordance with today´s Business Contexts. In this manner, it is expected that the HWSF would redress the deficiencies of current guides.
