Abstract :
A novel hybrid sliding-and-classical controller that retains the merits of the two individual controls while eliminating some of their major limitations is presented in the above paper (Yeung, K.S. et al., see ibid., vol.38, p.1422-7, 1994). The purpose of this paper is to show that the hybrid controller is actually applicable to a larger class of plants than that considered in the above paper, and to illustrate its application to command-to-line-of-sight missile guidance loop in the presence of glint noise.
