Abstract :
A data base of transmission line performance information to be used in reliability evaluation for planning and operating is presented. One objective is to describe the necessary categories for compiling line and network data. A second objective is to present representative forced outage frequency and duration data based on a twelve-year operating experience of the Commonwealth Edison Company´s 345 kV system.
