Abstract :
The carrier propagation characteristics of short as well as long cross-bonded cable systems are presented . A method of determining reflection-free characteristic termination for such systems is described. The extent of improvement obtained in the carrier performance of the system by the insertion of capacitors at the cross-bonding joints is assessed.
