Abstract :
EPRI´s Project RP763 fulfilled the need for a production grade computer program to produce Dynamic Equivalents for Power System Stability studies. The programs were developed by Systems Control Incorporated using coherency identification as the basis for equivalencing. This paper presents Ontario Hydro´s two-year experience in using this technique in determining Operating Security Limits.
